I hope the problem clears up for you and it doesn't get to serious. Good luck!

Sorry to hear your shoulder is giving you a lot of discomfort. Hopfully, it doesn't get any worse.

I'd been wondering about your injuries and absence from the thread. I hope your shoulder doesn't become an obstacle for your bowhunting passion Johnny. Will be keeping positive thoughts on your doctor keeping you in the game.

So sorry to hear that Johnny! Hopefully it’s not too bad but sometimes putting it off makes it worse. As far as the crossbow. I had to give up my bow in 2008 because a driver ran a red light doing 55mph and he me square on my door. 2 surgeries later I can still hunt, just not with the equipment I preferred. Accidents and injuries can slow us down but they can’t steal our passion.

Well I had pretty good night. I decided to hunt from the ground tonight, walking and doing so some Scotting when I darn near ran into a very nice buck. He was about 40 yards away. I just stood there watching him look at me and try to figure out what the heck was this camo blob. A doe had to have come thru before we arrived. He slowly walked by nose to the ground. He was about the same size of a buck as the one I shot on November 2nd. Or maybe a little bigger. Man I wish Pa was a multiple buck state. What an awesome encounter. Maybe he will be around next year.

Johnny - praying for healing of the shoulder. The good news is there is a lot of time to heal before next season. Hopefully doctors get you on track soon. I had considered one of the bikes, but was thinking about something more stable...not going that direction anymore.

It rained all afternoon = no hunting. It also looks like rain the next several days. I'll be cheering you all on and get back in the woods Friday. Cheerio!

Sorry to hear that Johnny. Sounds like a rotator cuff. Luckily when I tore mine I was able to slowly strengthen my arm and platelet injections helped a ton. I did have to us a Crossbow for an entire season, but it's gotten stronger ever since. Good luck. Hopefully you don't need surgery cause it's about a 6-12 month process.

The bike is awesome - just not in rocky, hilly terrain.

I was only using it here because I had no choice. I knew I was risking a lot and I lost the bet.
