You didn't shoot that buck? He sure looks to be in a great position for it! Did you not shoot him because of the broken G3?
Man I'm covered up in here this morning. First I hear a buck growling and see him running around in this tall stuff that looks like fountain grass. I could only see a rack and I couldn't tell how many points. Then a six point, that I've passed on twice before comes to within 30yds of me. I thought about it but I passed again. He leaves and not 5 minutes later I hear grunting and I see a doe with an 8 point following. They're within 20 but the trees were in the way. If they continue on the path they're on they hit one of my shooting lanes and he's dead! Instead the doe stops and goes the other way, taking him with her. Excitin morning I tell ya! I also try my hardest to not use a light, but sometimes it's just to dark. Then I'd rather use the light then break all kinds of sticks.
Sharing in case anyone may be interested. I'm not affiliated but wanted a bottle to have to celebrate a kill. I ordered online. They are located in Wisconsin. Sent from my SM-S928U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Fog all morning her in Central IL. Haven’t seen a deer in shooting light. Hoping once it clears out the deer begin to move. Wish I had brought lunch. I don’t think this is clear until nearly 11 AM. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Watching a yearling doe 50yds away. Slowly take the covers off my scope… doe behind her at 70yds spots me. Didn’t see her in the fog/sunlight. Stomped at me a few times and bounded into the thick stuff. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
