Group of coyotes running around me. Can hear them squeaking and panting. Still 30+ minutes till I can shoot.

On the way to the office to help put details together for the budget…a lovely little project due by EOW that got dumped in my lap.

I saw deer up last night while driving to play pickleball. I think the next couple weeks around here will be heating up…

Couple raccoons took a swim under me right after.

I've never used one cause I haven't killed a deer in a while. I took one to Iowa last fall and wondered what it would've been like to haul a deer on that with all the salt and grime from the roads. I guess we'll see. lol

Tough to find anything good about this morning. There is though, it is the 3rd time in my bow hunting years that it is SO WINDY AND GUSTY regardless of where I'd go that is safe, I wouldn't due to arrow / bolt flight.
I say this because Not only that, BUT up half the night jockying around dogs to stop whining, scratching , taking out potty. Finally putting both grandpups in bedroom with me stopped that. I am so flipping tired!!!! I was up and dressed by 5, all dogs were fed and pottied. Winds are just howling and still are, one flag ripped and one pole bent.
    Stay safe out there guys

It’s been quiet here. Seen a doe at 1st light and I just rattled in a small 8p. They just aren’t moving.

Slept in this morning, scattered rain and i was exhausted. Going for a long afternoon sit, 12-dark. The nw winds are really messing with my plans.
Taking the climber to the back of the property, kill a bruiser trailing a doe.
    Good luck!

Getting dressed for a rest of the day sit. I'll be in a climber in a cypress patch in the swamp with no signal. Going to throw the kitchen sink at them today, boys and girls. Orange army assault starts tomorrow
