Alright lets try this again. Complete bust yesterday and i sat a spot off of sentimental valve over sign, so was taught a tough lesson. Tonight sitting a hidden back corner of a bean field. Anything goes, doe, buck, both? Lets see what happens. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
View out front, but expect deer to come in from behind me. 85 degrees and a rare east wind. Perfect for this spot Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
First critter sightings. A flock of turkeys just passed by. About 12 or more. Looked like 2 hens with there almost full sized poults. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
Morning was a bust. 3 squirrels was all I saw. I may sit there tomorrow night, but I'll likely give my land a rest for a few weeks.
I went and put a climber on a tree across the road here at home today. Tomorrow morning is opening day. Based on my what my cameras are telling me it’ll be a miracle if I see anything in the morning if I get to hunt. There’s a good chance of rain in the morning. Tomorrow afternoon I’ll have a better chance of success.
Sooooo, all three Doe boned out and on ice. Grid searched the field where last blood was and no Doe. Watched the video in slow mow repeatedly. Shot was definitely low and back. So muscle blood and probably sliced the liver. Hope she survives. My Buck stand is near where I lost blood, if I see her I'll put another arrow in her.
Back in, late due to the above post, but I'm here waiting on antlers. Acorns are falling, brook has water flowing in it, wind is good. It's 80+, my hunting pants didn't dry completely after washing but I don't mind today. Sprayed down real good. Thermacells(2) are cranking. It's an absolute jungle out here, deer will just appear out of no where.
Big doe just popped out. At 55 yards and coming my way! Stay tuned Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
