    Probably 23...I shot for 20 and hit just low of heart. Blood is just straight red, no bubbles and not alot of it

    Sounds like a brisket hit. I've hit several there ... you get drip blood for hundreds of yards and no beds.

    Doesn't sound promising.

    Couple spots like this about 200yds in. Good news is I think he's still alive. Only part that worries me is as I was walking to truck, a random pickup-truck pulled back and was watching over my field. I think they saw him coming from the other way and we're trying to see where he went.

    These dark to darks are taking their toll on this 67 year old. :lol: Especially when I only see two deer, and they were at 4:55pm, twenty mins defore dark. I think I'm done with morning hunts, since I'm seeing most deer towards evening. I'll be back at it tomorrow afternoon/evening though. :tu:
