Different finger ridge for this evening. kinda steep, but found a decent fresh scrape...looks like an overgrown fire or logging road below me...
Just had a guy walk in on me. Fortunately, he turned around when I whistles at him. Apologized, not everyone on public is a jerk. I would have done the same thing if it had been me walking in. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Dude just walked past me again about 75 yards south on an old fire road that parallels the slough edge, go ahead and go there, I scouted that two hours ago before coming back to this spot. Hope find the ground blind that my son killed a buck out last week. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Speaking of which, pictures from where the buck was standing and its remains. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Out with my son so went to the tower blind! Love that he is so driven to tag along! Sent from my SM-S918U using Tapatalk
Bless him, son made it until 3:10 before calling and quite frankly sounding near tears. Ma I'm done don't want to risk you spooking anything near dark when I can't make it. All he saw were lots of birds. He was very impressed with moms blind and spot picked though. Gave him credit for all the rehap timber he brought to me a couple of years ago. He had a hard time getting in the Gator and will pay for that sit tonight I fear.
Just tired a ratting sequence, we shall see, not too high hopes, doesn’t work as well in Arkansas as other places imho. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Guy number two just walked in on me, two hours of daylight left. You need to get in the woods earlier, and not walk right through the middle of a food plot. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Didn’t see a thing this morning but this has always been an evening spot. I moved 35 yards downhill to get a better view of the valley this afternoon.
