    Good luck Adam.

After 2 1/2 hours tracking last night I spent the last couple of hours before bedtime licking my wounds after not finding my doe, but I’m up and ready to try again.

15 minutes to shooting light and what looked like a good buck crossed the creek below me at 15 yards, hung out in my shooting lane for about 5 minutes and walked directly infront of my cell cam. Haven’t gotten a picture yet, stupid camera. 20 minutes later and that deer would have gotten an arrow

Had a good buck on camera about an hour ago just a little ways from where I'm sitting. Hope he works this way. I want to say thanks to all you vets out there who served this country. Y'all are awesome!

Since I am stuck working until Tuesday before I can really let loose on my new lease, and in honor of Veteran’s Day, roll call for all vets and their branches.

A beautiful morning in WNC...now that the rain pushed through. Wind needs to settle a tad before I work over the next ridge.

Pushed to the top of the ridge, real nice, heavy 8 broadside at 40. Branches in the way. If it were rifle season up here the glock may have been handy.

Were did a stare down for a bit and he eased over the ridge and he was gone in the Lauel and Rhodedendrons.

    Exciting 5 minutes though.
