I'm home. Those 2 does about 150 yards out. A 6 point came to about 10 yards 5 minutes before last light. And....... the 4 wheeling trespasser was CAUGHT!!! The guy was confronted and admitted it was him just out joyriding. He said he owns a farm nearby and knows it was wrong. I just don't get it but I do know it won't happen again. Cant believe it, been 8 years from today when i shot my big buck. Been getting reminders on my phone all day. Keep grinding boys and girls, can happen any minute!
I will be out in the morning! Of course today the day that I wasn’t out there I get these from the property I will be hunting tomorrow and hunted Saturday Seemed like they were in there most of the day today, hoping that is the case again tomorrow. Going to be 55 at daybreak where it was 35 this morning… not ideal but we did have rain move in this afternoon and it’s supposed to continue until an hour before daylight, we haven’t had rain in a long time so hoping that makes it feel a little cooler and has the bucks up on their feet!
Hey guys took the day off to catch up with family and trying to get a plan for tomorrow’s hunt and buddy calls me. Shot a good buck. Heard pop but it was lowlight and no lumenock so didnt see impact as good as hoped. This is arrow. They lost blood at 150 yds. Last blood was watery. What do you guys think?
Also he said smell of arrow definitely not guts and the arrow fell 30yds from impact. So passthrough but fletchings held on for a sec.
Watery is usually muscle hit of some nature, maybe shot it a lil forward or maybe high. Hope not for his sake, what is the blood trial like?
Holt, 8 years?? Wow, I would have guessed maybe four or five. I remember the velvet footage you had of him too. Amazing deer
It’s so crazy that I actually remember this day you killed that deer. Been on this forum a long time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
