Just had 2 does out in front at 150yds in a field for about 5 min. The tails go up and they run into the woods. 10sec later a coyote trots out towards where they ran with something about the size of a large rabbit in it’s mouth.
2 Doe at last light at 20yds. Saw a bunch of chasing 200yds away on the other side of the creek. Also 2 small Bucks fighting. Nothing for me.
Well, that sucks. People just don't respect private land. And, they wonder why people post their land.
Lot of crashing, chasing, and grunting. Doe busts out of the thick stuff runs right under me… it’s a spike chasing lol. That was fun to watch though. Huge doe but I’m not gunna take a shot if she’s about to be in heat. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Last ER update Thank you for the prayers Talus bone fractured on both sides they are splinting/ casting to send home with Ortho recommendation. The hand was not as bad as discribed though he came very close to having " moms" pinky. A dog bit 1/3 of mine off. Stitching looked very good . No other fractures found. He'll look like a bruised turd, be out of work a long while . Bridge work. Actually best time of year if it had to happen. Hope he doesn't lose company truck but he can't drive now any ways. And they have a truck. I thank God he's alive and it wasn't worse, he knows better as far as safety geez bridge work taught him that.
May it be a short recovery! Only 2 doe in alfalfa the winds got way harder and rains heavier. Going to 30's tonight. Rain tomorrow
Lot of rut action tonight. Had a buck at 40 hung up in some thick stuff at last light. Never got to see what it was. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I don’t know how short it will be, but it’s gonna be tough. She made it all the way to the bottom of the valley.
I'm very happy it's not as bad as you first thought, although it was bad enough. Hopefully his recovery will go well. Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk
Looks like meat on vanes? Guess some fat, because there are white belly hair sticking to the arrow. What was details? Stand height, shot distance, shot placement, deer reaction?
