Only rabbits today. Last night I did. A dandy buck and a doe with a fawn.

Packed and ready for the wet morning, they say the rains quitting around sunrise. I guess I’ll be wet for a little bit. I think I screwed up my knee, again, but it’s still moving and luckily I have two of them. Still debating deep woods or field edge, we shall see in the morning, most likely in the canopy, I need that spot to work. I’ve been looking at it for 2 seasons buts a little funky with the wind/thermals.
See you fellas and ladies in the am!

Coffee down and a lot warmer this morning. 47 degrees and calling for rain all day to start around 6:00 AM. I should be on stand by 5:35 AM. Good luck if you’re heading out today.

I'm up in my stand. Spooked several deer on my way in once I tripped over a tree branch that fell last night. Good luck out there today everybody!

The rain should end around 7, which is shooting light. I'll make the short walk when the rain ends.

Im up shooting light now. Already had a single deer come up to me in the dark. Also heard a buck taring thru the cattails on the other side of the marsh.

Still 15 minutes away from daylight but they were chasing and grunting going on all around me for 10 minutes. I hope they come back.

In the stand and it's shooting light. Tough getting in. 50yds from the stand I heard deer to my left, my right and in front they were just walking. So I went to two steps at a time with long pauses in between. They slowly walked off and I made it to the stand. Instead of in an hour early I was only 25min before shooting time. Ready to kill a Buck, just need a decent one to show up.

Turkeys are gobbling, song birds everywhere, squirrels are playing. 30deg. No wind. Lots of crunchy leaves. One deer at about 150yds seen so far. Gonna try some rattling and grunting on a little bit. Good luck everyone!

Just as i typed that, had a couple deer come ripping thru. Sounded like a buck and a doe. To dark to see what they were. About 40 yards away.

Alarm went off and I turned it off and listened...when I can hear the wind through a closed window, I'm staying. Rechecked forcast, rain due and clipping winds until late day. Good day to clean house
    Good Luck all

Just had a small 6er cruise thru the bottom of the marsh, probably 75 yards away.
