I saw a about 20 does this morning. Great morning. Back out this afternoon to evening. My last sit in NY. It’s been a great wkend so far Time to kill a deer. Does are on the menu tonight.
I'm about 2/3 the way up on an oak ridge that overlooks a willow swamp. I know they bed in there, so maybe some love-starved buck will come around to check things out. At least now I have a somewhat favorable wind. Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk
sat from 12noon till dark yesterday Fri., good location, rubs/scrapes close by, only a coyote strolled thru (no shot)... sat this AM/Sat. from 1/2 hr before light till 1100, saw 2 unknowns east of me (just a second or two) and had a button bed by me .. still, no shooter seen .. talked to two other guys on the place and their sightings are also down .... rain coming now, hope to get back out tomorrow PM if the rain/weather cooperates
Nice doe shot Sunnyside. ALl that...heck of a buck I'm not up - trying to get first bow kill from the ground! It'll take a miracle.
Set up a blind near great buck sign where the bucks are frequenting near the opposite corner of the corn field. Set up a cell cam and put some buck pee around all the 3-4 scrapes right by the camera. Anxious to see what's roaming there. The blind is going to be a great place to use the buck decoy. The last picture is the tree that the bully buck tore up and put a scrape under before the big fight last night. Sent from my SM-S908U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
