He also smelled me and took off. I wasn't going to shoot him anyway but I need to change something for this afternoon. We've got a crazy NE/SE wind today which is unusual for this area

This is sickening. I was running combine last night and seen a really nice buck, i knew he was around from trail cam pics. Finished that field and went to the next and blew a hydraulic hose. I could've went hunting and took a slow day, but I was shot so I slept in and went to work on the combine. Pulled the hose off and was driving by the field where that buck was, and there he was with a doe. Heavy tall dark colored rack. This is enough, I'm quitting early and going hunting.

Send an arrow! That’s a trophy. Would be a beauty of a shoulder mount above the mantle.

I took my oldest for a weekend fishing trip for his 13th birthday this summer. The state park campground had two albino and several piebald squirrels, weirdest squirrels I have. There at least 8 different ones that we counted.

I shot a doe a few years back and had two buck come inover her .fight then the bigger 6 pt went to town trying to breed her. He made me get out of tree to chase him off. He was messing her up with his rack trying to get her to her feet. Gored her backup

Gonna give it to about 11. Not even squirrels moving in the wind and the tree sway is getting to me.

It’s been a ghost town here, also not much shooting for the opening day of rifle season

On one of my Alberta (Bow Zone) hunts, I watched a buck paw out the snow, thinking he was making a scrape. He was just clearing the bulk of the snow for a bed, then he layed in it for about a half an hour.
When he got up he came my way at 20yrds, he's now on my wall.
