    At the base of my tree. Very very loud walk in because of the frozen swamp grass. Good reason to get here early.

    Dead calm and cold. Time to listen.

    Not sure how today will go or if I will get an all day sit in or not. We potentially have 40,000 chickens being delivered around 330 - 430. I’ll likely need to go help unload. I’ll know by noon.

    3 deer in the swamp so far. Can actually hear this morning.

    Been set up since about 20 minutes before legal. Crusing area along a creek between thickets. Trail cameras show at least three bucks in the area I would shoot.

    Been all set up since about 30 minutes before light, on the edge of some doe bedding. Bumped some deer above me on the way in, then while I was climbing it sounded like some bumped to me from the bottom. There were deer here before light, so hopefully they are using this area regularly and the bucks will be cruising looking for some does!! Goodluck out there everyone. Beautiful morning
