I dice it like a tomato, and cut it up in thin strips, sear in a hot cast iron skillet with oil. Makes great fajita meat.

I’m up for what feels like the 50th time this trip. I haven’t been posting much though.

I’ve managed two antlerless kills but I’m seeing moren bucks than does. Three of them were really good ones but I can’t shoot another buck until the 16th.

I’m going to spots with no buck sign and they show up. They must know.

I’m hoping my son Greg can connect soon.

Pan fried or grilled, I’ve even had it pickled. Can go wrong whatever way you try as long as you clean it up good and don't over cook it. I can’t believe I used to give them away. A few videos on the internet on cooking and prep.

Well… its been a few years since ive done that one. Especially this deep. Went ate lunch cooled off hydrated. Back out to same tree i was in. Had to set sticks again because i didnt think i was coming back here when i left. Got up here and settled in. Im a mile and half in. Look at my wrist. No release.! :sad:Im gonna be worn out. Went all the way back to truck to get it and im back up. With release. And my bow. And an arrow. :tu:

Man, what a night! I had Deer all night. I was 2/3 of the way down my ladder stand and I hear walking behind me so I stop and slowly turn my head to the right and it’s the spike and he walked 10 yardsfrom me. He never looked at me. Dumbest animals in the woods…

As I was walking out, I got to the main trail where you can see better and there were deer 50 yards away watching me.. I kept walking and they just stood there… I saw deer constantly… my 3 1/2 sit felt like 20 minutes

Could have killed all 3 of those bucks

    I'm out.

    Saw a few does.

I took tomorrow off. I'll be in the woods early.
