Alright now I’m just seeing how far I can go with this. He’s had his head up the whole time facing my way. I’ve waved my arms, clanged my water bottle, opened up both my backpack and snacks bags (purposefully not being quiet)… hasn’t looked once. Either he’s really dumb or deer don’t notice as much as we think they do. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
We're out for the day. Saw 6 does...probably the same 3 circling back. We were overlooking this scrape at 7:10, so he must have been the buck we pushed across the river on our entry.
Guys I was paddling out and I have a giant 5 yds from the water. No way to hunt besides crawling in. I'm gonna try.
Big 10 and a nice 8 just came running in both grunting. No doe. Got the 10 stopped at 50. They were to my back left and I couldn’t duck/lean low enough to get under my bow holder. No idea what they were doing together like that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Well that didn't last long. He eased off after another small buck stood up and walked off. Got my blood pumping
He is probably smoking a few cigarettes and telling his buddies about what a great night he had chasing women around last night
Was getting ready to eat my PBJ about hour ago. Look to my left and 3 doe crosses creek and fed for 45 mins. One got to 37 yds but would prefer under 30. It was thick and she was kind of on alert since she was straight down wind. She knew something was up but not enough for her to run. She just turned and fed away. Ate my sandwiches. Now time for a nap
Was this one. I’m actually kind of disgusted. Those opportunities happen one maybe 2 times a year. At least they are in here gotta stay positive. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Congrats to all the killers this morning, you’re lighting this thread up! Cantexian, a big congrats to you and your son, just made an awesome memory that will never be forgotten!
My mid back is killing me today. Can’t stretch it out. No ibuprofen in my hunting pack either. Going to be a long 6 hours in the stand. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
