I agree it didn’t stop me from hunting the last couple days. That being said I’m not sure if that caps out at a certain wind speed? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Big buck 70 yards. No shot. Won't come to a call either Sent from my SM-G990U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
For me the question leads to another question. Can I track a deer shot in this weather? If a mediocre blood trail cannot be followed, I feel I should not hunt. If the weather is spotty and I may be able to track some, I greatly decrease my shot distance and take only opportunities that are highly likely to have short (under 100 yard) blood trails.
It’s nasty out. Few inches of snow on the ground will be heading out soon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
No hunting for me today because it's rained on and off most of the day. But tomorrow I've got a score to settle with a certain buck. It's gettin personal now! Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk
These are the types of days where your hopes are the highest… and then you get slapped in the face with reality and not see a deer haha. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Winter wonderland. I’m fully prepared to not see a single deer tonight. Snow melting and falling off the trees making a ton of noise. Also melting and falling on my head. Everything is wet already. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
81, light wind, super crunchy. Will hear anything coming. Got out here late, lots of traffic, but 1.5hrs is better then no hours. Good luck everyone.
My gloves got soaked too. Snowballs falling out of the trees hitting you too? My hands will be actual ice cubes shortly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
