Found a rub/scrape line to set up on. Jumped a doe and 2 fawns getting in here. So far lots of squirrels. Got a pic of a 4pt at the draw at 3:48. Will probably hunt there tomorrow if I don't get something tonight.

Good luck! I just got home from a scout mission after work, dumped 7 cells cams in travel corridors/crossings/pinches. Hope to get a clue to what this big Mofo is doing!!

She’s due for one. She’s 15 now and the last buck she shot with a crossbow was when she was 11. It was a 135” 11 point. That one cost some $$.

About 20 minutes ago I hear a bunch of crashing about 50yds off in some thick stuff. I can't see anything but it goes on for about 5 minutes. Then I see antlers moving away in the thicket. I don't know if it was a buck fight or chasing but all that commotion certainly got my pulse rate up!

Just passed on a doe. Hear me out....

Doe and fawn come out of thickness I heard crash from earlier. She has mouth open... I was hoping big boy following. Nope.

    I hear more movement.

    Get him Jim!

We're out. Only some does, fawns and young bucks. Young bucks were pushing the does but they weren't having any of it.

Lone doe popped out in the swamp at 120. Turned around and a spike at 45. Deer pop out of no where in here. Really gotta have your head on a swivel.

I'm at the end of month 2...and my boss is taking the next month off.

    Nothing to see here.

Moved one of my cell cams to a new spot. Found this old wooden ladder stand in this spot. Time will tell if it's a good spot or not 20241030_105403.jpeg

This should've been one of the best evenings to hunt, and it was dead. What's going on?

Might want to try formatting your memory card. Sometimes that's all it needs. I usually format mine after 5 pulls. Not sure if it's a good fix but it has always worked for me.
