Haha was my wife looking from behind me wearing a halloween shirt so pretty close. Was taking pics using my phone from my computer screen lol
Live from camp LC. Bacon wrapped jalapeño, cream cheese back strap rolls. Living it up. Warm weather has us taking a evening off and enjoying the finest things in life.
Just 1 fawn right at dark for me. I ran into a big doe in the swamp as i was crossing on the way in. See was bedded about 30 yards from the tree i was going to climb. Thats it for me.
Nothing beats deer camp with friends and family. Killing deer is just a bonus that makes the grill smell good!
Unusually slow night on cams tonight, wasn’t even that hot out here 65 for the high… absolutely 0 deer on my cell cams this evening
Frustrating and disappointing night. Went back to impact sight and found nothing again. Followed some trails and found nothing. I know it’s not lethal but still sucks. Should have just not taken a shot on a large doe who was spooky in the place. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Finally got a new 21cu deep freezer in. Now to stock it with deer. Sent from my SM-G990U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Holt, I always respect what you have to say. And what you say makes sense. One question though. If one, or both of these good 8pts are bothered so much by any residual odors I might have left, (I put plastic down, then my cushion), why would they deem it safe to be there at night? If my odor has lingered there, wouldn't they avoid the area 24/7? My most recent video of the 8pt was just this past Sunday. As far as today goes, all I saw was a spike buck @6:05pm. He walked in just 15 feet from me, then left as he saw me videoing him on my phone.
Good luck this AM, it's getting close! .My big Bucks are all moving at night now, in both VT and NJ. Be in a NJ tree tomorrow afternoon.
Good morning serious deer hunters! You've gotta be serious about it to be up at 4:30am. Good luck to those hitting the woods today, and be safe!
