Easton just had a spike come in on him. It saw him before he could draw and shoot it. About an hour left. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Well seen a doe in field out next to me coming my direction. Then she froze staring off to other side of field behind me. There stood the big 12. As he started working towards her she b lined it out of there. He came out about 20 mins till dark. He then winded something and took off the way he came. A house is about 80 yards from where he was so Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
We are home, I saw everything but deer tonight. Easton had all the action, he had two does come in on him that caught him trying to draw and took off. Pretty impressive for a ground hunt in a natural blind, four deer in his range of 25 or less. Just couldn’t quite get a shot off. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Thanks. Arrow launched at 6:25 pm. I sure thought it was a doe. Tiny little 2 1/2” spikes. Fortunately for me it counts as antlerless here. It was a perfect shot. It ran back towards the road and piled up about 20 yards from the road. 15 minutes before this one showed up a really good 8 point walked by at 25 yards. Had to just sit and watch because I can’t shoot another buck until after the gun opener on the 16th.
Shot ended up about perfect. Double lung. Ran out of the woods about 45 yards, turned right went about 15 more yards and dropped in the field.
