Out of the corn. Once there was picked rows leading to my tree...the combine encouraged them my direction.
I’m in the same boat this afternoon except the farmer is chisel plowing the cut corn under. I’m not very optimistic but plan on sitting it out
Stay the course @pastorjim08 !! You are there, where you've wanted to be all year. Stop, breathe in through the nose and re-focus your energy. KILL
About 90’minutes left. Nothing but squirrels and birds so far. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I'm in the blind, once again with low expectations. Just as I got to the blind a deer bounded away thru the brush. Probably the next world record buck. And I just bumped him.
2 does became 4 does, all followed the same route. Got within 45yd, but no shots. A good sit tonight though.
Made it to camp in Missouri, put everything in a pile and walked a ways below camp just to sit and watch from the ground. Sure is nice to just be in the woods with nowhere else to be. Yes, my bow is next to me.
3 @ 60yds. But they're the same species as myself. There's a walking trail at the back of the property, so the deer are used to people. They still like this little patch of woods. And its common to have some decent 3 yr old bucks hanging around.
I knew someone would connect. Good luck with the track. Keep us updated! Sent from my SM-S908U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
