Sorry but no other blood pic or tracking to do. It was a coyote.

After almost two months of no rain, we are finally getting a light drizzle this morning. Not enough to end the drought, at least it is some moisture.

Back home , dead, I mean dead out there. Not even mice rustling in leaves. I walked the back perimeter to get home . What a mess I don’t know whats going on at night but so much down. Limbs to trees all over. Old reliable 2 stand had it's log seat on ground, that's a first so had to haul that back up, crazy heavy but my tow line held. Checked the garden cam on way home. Zero, zero pics and it always has something on it. Be it crow grubbing or rabbits eating clover , red fox hunting them.
    Good luck everyone

Well the only deer I’ve seen was a spike chasing 2 does at about 100yds.

Living vicariously through everyone out hunting.

Live from the Clearwater River. Bobber down on 2nd drift. A real nice 16 lb male steelhead, clipped. Catch and release zone so let him go.

Seems like everyone in deer camp seeing them but me. I keep seeing the same damn spike, got doe tags in my pocket and have yet to see one (in Michigan anyway.)

Going to take my climber out early and start cutting sign.

Nothing for me but a couple squirrels. Pretty sure I had something move through in the dark. Have a family function this afternoon. Next Saturday I’ll be out for possible all day sit. Good luck PM shift

Fish #2 on 4th drift. Maybe 11 lb wild female. Strong runs and 4 aerials, fun to catch. No pic, when I set the pole down to try to take one and unhook it, she thrashed and spit the jig. Away she went.

Yes, those squirrels drive me crazy!! I heard what I thought was just another tree rat making noise yesterday evening, but it turned out to be a non-legal buck. It's that one time you ignor what you think is another squirrel, only to have it be your buck!

Been side lined with an inner ear infection the last 3 days. Had planned to sit in ground blind this morning. Didn't make it. This is what I missed by wussing out. They are 18 yards from the blind.

Wow! That has to be very frustrating! You weren't wussing out. Ear infections are no joke, and can be very painful. Hope you feel better soon.
