Saw a unidentified deer around 8, then a few minutes ago I had a 100" 8 point, 2 year old give me several shot opportunities but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. He got a free pass.
I would love to, PA is on my list of states to hunt. May be a few years, I had planned on joining @LittleChief at his MO camp again this year. Unfortunately, my son had emergency surgery back in June. $4000 in medical bills later, no out-of-state trips for me this year. My dad is already trying to talk my brother and I into doing a moose hunt with him next year.
Ive been noticing a lot of people really taking liberties on public land this year. Putting duck blinds up and making roads in the woods to drive their trucks to the waters edge. Major tree cutting. Liter. Going around locked gates with ATVs and tearing up walking paths. It's getting old.
Three times in the last two seasons, I have seen people driving past gates clearly marked as no motorized vehicle access. One guy had six bags of corn on the back of his UTV. Completely illegal on public land. Unfortunately, I think it is people that live close, no trucks but mine in the parking areas or I would have gotten license plates to report it.
This was all I saw this morning, other than the four wheeler with an adult male and a little kid on his lap ripping on the property across from me at 9:30. I was hoping he might push something on my Woods. But he didn’t, and then he kept coming back and saw me the second time, waved me, I thought he was leaving, but he came back again. Hard to get mad at somebody that’s legally riding on their property if in fact, that’s what he was doing. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
It’s been a great sit this morning. 3 bucks. All with in the last 1/2 hr. Spike, 3 pt and a little 6 or 8 pt. Couldn’t tell. + Doe and a fawn little after 8. she came in from behind me , I was looking else where and when I turned to look that way she caught me. She didn’t stick around very long.

Kill guys kill I'm starting get concern over these aches, weakness and still angery looking tick bite from the other day.
Is there a bullseye? If so, get into the doc yesterday. Lyme is nothing to mess with, but if it's treated early, it'll save you a huge amount of stress later. Was it a deer tick?
I don't want to scare you. But I have had Lyme and got antibiotics and kicked it for the most part. My wife on the other hand was not so lucky.
That dot in the lower left corner is actually access to the top of the ridge and corn field. I kinda think that will be my best bet. I think trying to get down in there will just blow them all out.
Ended up seeing 5 deer total this morning, had a small buck chasing a doe. Had to get down at 9 due to the regulations for this property. I have the rest of the day off. Thinking about going back up there during nap time to do some scouting.
I had a tick bite a couple of months ago, showed my doctor the picture of it, he called in the antibiotic right away. Better safe than sorry
Planning on heading out this afternoon, but it's going to be 87...not even sure if it's worth sitting in a tree during daylight. Might find a low cool area and try to ground hunt. I have no idea how to setup in this heat.
No, I understand . Problem is late 60's and every year they have to dose me due to bites. I didn't with this one because, if I really need them I want antibiotic work. I have a history of pneumonia from the age of 10 on up till last time was my 50's. Damned if I do Damned if I don't . I'll give it till Monday
