I'm in today temps drop tomorrow for a few days. I had to leaf blow yard and beat knee and back so resting this a.m.,( ya sure) then scrubbing Gator for the winter. Breezy so leaves are covering everything up again ,but cleaning trees good.

I'm looking forward to bloody fine pics from all that are out today. Have fun and stay safe.

I'm up in here. Weatherman wrong again. Supposed to be NW wind, instead it's SW. Also supposed to be much cooler this morning but nope, warmer than yesterday. I'm telling you they are wrong more often than my wife thinks I am in a day!

Nice morning a little warm. One loan deer was coming up the cut path pretty sure it was a doe it turned into the goldenrod, leaves falling behind me have me on edge.

Totally agree. Every time I look at Weather Channel and the WeatherBug on my phone while hunting, they both have different wind directions. And, these wind directions are usually NOT what I'm experiencing where I'm sitting most of the time. In their defense, they do usually get the temps right though.

We had a “cold” front come through too, it’s supposed to be in the low 70’s today……

Turned out it was a small forkie according to my trailcam. It came by about 30min before daylight. I'm out, nothing else seen except 2 raccoons and a gray cat.

Just posting this for motivation against the warm weather. My coworker shot this this morning and we woke up to temperatures in the 60s going to high 70s. It’s time folks. Get in the tree when you can.

That's been my experience for my last four evening hunts. The tree rats drive me crazy! It can only get better. Considering an all day sit on Saturday.

Scouted for an hour before work. Jump a four pointer. No other sign. Not gonna hunt there this year.
