    I was helping a first year hunter out today at work. I helped him set his bow up and improve some things. He is actually a good shot for only shooting for 6 months. He told me he has a small piece of private land and he wanted to know my opinion on how good he thought the buck was he had been seeing....so he showed me a video. Holy hell it was prob a 160 inch 8 pointer. Giant. I hope he kills it!

    I’m just north of you near Foley, MN. First daylight picture of a mature buck a few days back, but now my cameras have gone dead. I would expect it to pick up very soon.

    Congrats on the bird, OND! A group of 7 gobblers has been giving me fits for the past 4 days, just couldn't close the deal. I won't be back for another week and half or so. I'm so looking forward to another chance

    Nothing for me tonight. One smallish buck came out by the stand I usually use, I had moved 80yds down the field edge. My brother in law sent me a couple pics from a cam by the stand i usually use. There is a sorta nice 8 point hanging around i guess. 1000167551.jpg

    I agree. Most of my friends hunt bluff country like me and they haven’t gotten any bigger bucks on daylight camera yet. The smaller bucks are just starting to come out in daylight
    Nothing for me tonight I can’t believe how strong the wind got right at dark. Bring on the cooler temperatures

    Heading to the stand. It was in the mid 80s yesterday and it’s 54 right now with a high of 71. The weather is looking good for another hunt on Saturday. Good luck everyone!!

    Dang I'd think on buying bulk tinks soaking a xxl t shirt to dripping , start at where pic was and doing a drag back to my place....lol
