Works great also in the evening. Go out in the yard at night with just the light from the house. Will let you know what your abilities are in that low light scenario. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
we have TONS of vultures at our property in Missouri haven't seen any black ones though... So.... shoot something, throw it in the middle of a field and take head shots with a 22 at these things? that could be fun
Thank the Lawd! May want to wear a bigger boot or lace up as loose as you can to compensate for some swelling. And ice, ice, ice!
Good news Chief. Take a day or two , til you can withstand the pain. Take a couple Tylenol and get after it
These 2 solid bucks killed by friends of mine in the last couple days! It feels almost like Christmas eve! this one public illinois And this one public Missouri
Crazy isn’t it? Why can’t I talk about winning a bunch of money and they just send it to me? I don’t want to see your dumb ads. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Lol. Yeah, prior to this the only Black Vultures on my phone are when they pop up on pandora. Solid band by the way.
I’m not going to have a lot of time to hunt this week. I’ll be getting the camper ready to tow to the National Forest on Saturday. I’m sure I can work in a sit or two.
As I mentioned had to take car down to machanic. Due to heat ,was going turkey hunting at garden blind. Due to hubby having a chiro. appointment we were running later than he usually does. Left at 7a.m. there abouts. I get home get out at around 8. Check cam a group of Toms ( I rarely see) is eating 10 yrds from the blind at 7:06a.m.. Just no words...though I'm thinking on some new ones. So decided to take a blower back pack walk from house to swamp blind, 3/4 mile each way down the hill. 200ft from blind was a complete " cluster...." half the 60 to 80 ft dead ash decided to blow over. On the way back at mid hill elevated open blind, I kick up a buck. So much for their fear of sound .

We've been dealing with them for the last three or four years. This one is the real deal. Sometimes 7 hours after death during daylight they end up looking alot like Chiefs buck did.
I had a group of seven gobblers heading my way for like an hour. One of them started getting Squirrley and I launched at 30 yard shot at the biggest bird and just missed. SOB
Up. In tree I sat last week and saw the little 8 point. Been good activity on camera. 75* out....so maybe buck only tonight. Picking the corn....never been done this early. It'll make for an interesting season.
Well I’m up but not optimistic. 85 degrees in Mn. on the 21st of Oct. I have a few bucks on the wall and 4 of them I have shot between 10-20 & 10-25 My log tells me it’s 15-20 degrees hotter than those times. still going to stick with what the history tells me
Just rolled into the yard from the road. Seen quite a few dead bucks out there. Grabbing a coffee and gonna head to the stand and sit over a little 5acre field of clover/alfalfa. It's really warm, but it's been cooling off nice in the evenings.
Buzzards are federally protected, same for all Hawks, Owls, Eagles and Seagulls .. buzzards are federally protected by the Migratory Bird Treaty Act (MBTA) of 1918. This means that you need a permit to trap, kill, relocate, or touch them: You can apply for a permit from the USDA-APHIS-Wildlife Services (WS). The USFWS processes the applications. Violating the MBTA can result in fines up to $100,000 or even imprisonment seagulls are federally protected under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act (MBTA) of 1918: It's illegal to kill, sell, purchase, or possess migratory birds or their parts, including feathers, nests, and eggs It's also illegal to pursue, hunt, take, capture, or attempt to take, capture, or kill any migratory bird Accidental kickings of protected birds are considered intentional You can only take seagulls with a permit issued by the US Fish and Wildlife Service and the state wildlife agency The MBTA protects all native bird species, regardless of whether they migrate. The act was originally passed between the United States and Canada, but was later amended to include Mexico, Japan, and Russia.
