I read an article about that bear, what a MONSTER! At 770lbs dressed, that bear was 900lbs + live weight. Amazing!
Not in this case no news was because of no signal in the ravine. Elly May didn’t catch scent of it. We are letting her track, but she’s trying to follow multiple trails. This place is so thick that now it’s just a hunt for the proverbial needle in a haystack. Still trying though.
I sent my wife and Elly May home. It’s too thick to fight a dog on a leash. There are a couple more places I need to look.
Well, bad news and good news. The good? I found him. The bad? He’s eaten and he was a little guy. I don’t care. I was excited and was glad to kill him.
My friends in NJ say they've become a big problem raising trash...recall, bear hunting was also banned for years there. Together Yogi gets big!
So glad to hear you found him. You definitely went the extra mile. Was Elly May on the track yesterday when you took her off? I'm just curious if she was on it.
If you want and you have a chance, I'd like to see where he was found in relationship to where he was shot Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk
The effort and memories you made while finding him makes him a trophy in my mind! Congrats Chief on your recovery. Glad it had an ending for your peace of mind.
When someone you know gets a picture of me in the honey hole. I guess it's our honey hole now lol. Sent from my SM-G990U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
