Most corn fields for miles around are cut except the property I hunt on. I'm sure every buck and his brother is holed up in this lone corn field, lol!
That they can be. If you’re going to do it you have to put it in front of shoulder where the neck meets. I don’t mind the shot at all but for me they have to be 20 yards or in. She’s dead camo but you may need a dog.
Exciting morni g guys I hope deer are found and in great shape I didn't go but did get meat in cooling , two roosters skinned, cleaned and cooling . To be honest it has made me want to bag a turkey. Also made me realize exactly why huntng in the heat in fall is just not my thing. With just the chicken, blow flies and yellow jackets were absolutely miserable!!!
You probably do this, but I will ask , did you start looking for hoof prints in corn when blood peatered out? I ask because when feeling pressured to follow blood we sometimes get discouraged and forget foot prints and plant breakage signs. I've found a few deer with no blood but tracks and broken stems. Hair on plants.
Sounds like you single lunged her after reading everything.. she is definitely dead… can you get a bunch of guys to grid search or get a tracking dog? Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
