Congrats bro! It’s kind of bittersweet for me as I’m scared about seeing Fix in pink panties Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I've had the same issue. Wind switch this afternoon and I'll be there. Setup on a funnel where bucks historically travel when out seeking.
With so few deer in my area, I'd be cutting my own throat killing a doe. I can only see them as buck bait.
How Perfect! They are cutting the grain corn as I set the stand..stand is 50 yrds off the hay field between the 2 corn acerage..now I can leaf blow the last hundred yard to stand with no worries of me disrupting things.
Great morning. Even with my screw up. Had little does around me this morning. I want a bigger doe. If I going to shoot. after that group of 6-7 does. I had 4 individual small does come in Closest on was 18 yards I thought shooting her. But 1 1/2 or a fawn (big)
Wow how did I ever use this rivers edge. Its like carrying around a Buick. Set just need some straps sitting in it for a low test climb. She does limb easily.. 3 big dropping oaks in front on field edge(cluster rubs) A huge pig nut dropping behind. A bunch of beech too.
That was my plan going into this year. Not trying to turn away too many chances on doe and getting her tracks, I’m hunting for 3 houses. Like to help my family out with some venison. I love the process!!
I got down some time ago. I got back to the bike and the front tire was flat. I set all my gear down and started walking. I called my wife and she met me with a small CO2 inflator and two cartridges for it. Only one worked but I got enough inflation to get back home. I’m trying to decide if I should hunt that same spot again this evening and tomorrow morning or keep bouncing around like I’ve been doing. Next week is the 3rd quarter moon and it’s one of my favorite times but it’s going to be warmer. What do you all think? Go back in immediately or let it cool down and get back in there next week?
