Good luck today. Remember, be careful out there. Could've been much worse, but day 4 was a bit rough.
I'm up. What a bright moon lit walk to the stand. There were two unidentified deer about 60yds before I got to the stand. They took off. Hope that doesn't cancel out the entire morning. Good luck to anyone who is out this AM Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk
Got in very quiet and clean. Well clean other than brand new bottle of code red that had a loose top in my pocket. So I smell like a doe whore house...lol Beautiful out and frozen. As in ice over everything. No wind, no deer either. Nieghbor has his dogs tied out in the woods again. Something is moving over there. Both chestnuts are dropping like mad.
I really wish I hadn't drank that large nectar of the gods (diet dew) this morning. Signed; I P freely Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk
Don't know about you but I have 3 layers on lower half and 4 on top. Just comfy. Elevation, it's crazy, top 4 chestnuts nearly done dropping and these 800 ft. down hill are just starting. Ones on top are younger and half again taller than these, many year older ones.
One thing is apparent. I have a coyote problem out at the property by the house. Shot 2 yesterday and my cams were blowing up last night. Neighbor sent me this pic of his clover plot which is probably 500yds from where my tree was last night. Then i get these. This is all right after i shot the second one of the 2 i shot yesterday.
Unidentified deer moving through some thick stuff at about 80yds......moving away! Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk
Makes me happy to see guys making some great shots on deer!!! Way to go Dan and Brett. Short track jobs are the best. I will be out tonight, first sit since Sat AM.
Our company quit doing that years ago. I always want to go and see all the vendors and new products. Is it still held in KC? Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Well it was cold this morning. 32 on the trk. When I sat in the tree weather app said 36. Either way ideal for this sit. Nothing so far. Squirrels and chipppies. 2 mph wow wind in my face.
