Back in the stand. Collected some SDs on the way and I finally got my No1 buck on camera that’s been MIA for a few weeks. I found his sheds last year but I think he’s core area is on the next property.

Late getting in, but I'm up in my stand. 46 degrees and dropping. Acorns falling. Squirrels going nuts. Sit back and relax for a few hours.

Been chatting with a guy that hunts one of the neighboring properties to the private i hunt. He sends me this pic and tells me it was killed earlier this year on the public i was hunting last night. We have no idea who the guy is and its all hearsay but dang. Supposedly scored in the 230’s. It depends. If it's right at last light I won't.

I know. The place is known for huge deer. A lot in the 170-180 class and a good number of 200 have been taken from there over the years but not that often. They are smart and retreat to private ground when the pressure gets on. Tok bad ive never killed any of them there hahaha. Ive had some great encounters though

Just got in the stand, have 2 hours of shooting light. I don’t know if anyone makes more of a racket than me setting up and climbing in a climber

I’m up in yet another new spot. At least here I’m off the road, well concealed and I can see 40-70 yards depending on which way I look.

This will be my first sit off the ridge top.

Congrats Kenny G. Mellow tunes and a track job on a great buck. Shoot, man I'm jealous.

Pretty late getting out but I'm going to try this new stand set tonight. They just finished harvesting beans about an hour ago. 1000005140.jpg

I’m up. 44 degrees. Hands are cold. I have pockets. Ground a little wet. See squirrels don’t hear them as much with wet ground Great evening to be in a tree.

I think I fixed my issue with this damn phone.
I can pics again. Print is black also

I'm after this buck yet again. Moved down about 50 yards on this finger ridge. Of course he'll cross above me and go up the hill this time
