Went about 75 yards. Awesome blood trail. Pic isn’t showing up for some reason. 2.5 year old 10. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
my inner autist is crying out in pain not on the shot/impact on the animal, but I used to completely space out on where the animal was standing at the POI in relation to my stand. I used to be off by 10 yards sometimes. I have gotten better (from suggestions on this forum, no less) at picking a landmark at the moment of truth. CONGRATS!
I heard deer moving all the way up to first light but nothing came close. Now someone’s hound is running deer all around the ridge I’m on. He’s made a complete circle and he’s west of me bawlimg. I was kind of hoping he would bump something to me but nothing.
As I was paddling out last night, I was checking my deer in. So I had to sit in the middle of the water so I was able to hear what sounded like lone deer moving. Man what a scouting tool to try and figure out where a buck beds and when they move relative to sundown.
