    One more hour then headed home to defrost. Not even a chipper seen., zip, zero, nada. Heard crow but hey, there's many acres of standing drying corn 300 yrds away.

    Just missed a doe. She came running in from behind me. She stopped right under me and then started trotting.

    I drew , stopped her at 12 yards quartering away. I settled the pin and just as I was squeezing the trigger she wheeled left and my arrow barely missed her.

    Congrats on the doe AF!!! All I saw was the buck right at first light, after her worked off a little I threw out a grunt to try to bring him back in. Apparently that pissed him off and he made a scrape on the spot Image1728999451.958852.jpg
