Just tune your bow, move arrow rest to follow Bh’s once Fp’s and Bh’s hit together adjust your sight. Please don’t bandaid it by getting a mechanical head.
Getting ready to walk back to stand. 1st sit of the year for me. Yesterday was 67 degrees. Today it's 50. Just finished raining. Should be ok the rest of the evening. Maybe a pop up sprinkle. Have a camera over a scrape. Been mostly does on camera last 3 weeks. Last 2 or 3 days had 4 different bucks come through. Each one a little bigger than the previous. This was last night. I know there is a bigger one. Got 1 picture mid September of a good one. Good luck any evening hunters.
Nap thunder heads. I didn’t but just did. I was aiming at the bottom left print for the broad heads knowing they were going to be hitting on the right. It’s definitely the broad heads. I don’t like the fact they are that far off so I’m going to go back to what I used 5 years ago and they match my field tips. Montec G5 fixed
It's a Sports Afield 180° blind from Costco but I could put any brand there. I've killed 3 bucks in that spot, all within 12 yards.
Acorns galore, down wind of bedding. Currently not raining. Let’s go! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I’m back up in the new tree. I’m looking forward to the sun going behind a tree because it’s hitting me good right now.
I would be really surprised if it is the broadheads in general. A bent insert on the arrow you put the BH on, or a bent ferrule or blade on the one you tested, that is a possibility. But just throw a Montec on it and have it back to hitting POA and with field points? I will be very surprised. Something has to be loose, bent, broken, or failed in some way. To have it go from shooting fine before the season to suddenly doing that, something is wrong.
If it were me I would shoot a bareshaft along side of the field points, that will tell you the story immediately. If they don’t shoot together then your bow is out of wack or it’s a form problem.
Just called in a small buck. Didn't hear a sound. With the rain we had all morning, i don't hear the squirrels either. Gonna have to really pay attention the next hour and half so I don't get busted.
Windy! I'm about 145 yards from known buck beds and if he heads out into the wind, he's gotta pass by me at least visibly. Does cross here as well. Good luck everyone. It's mid October!
I’m up, sitting on a small clover plot between two larger ones. I wanted to go to a different spot but this spot works better for the wind I have.
It’s sunny here, but a beautiful 45 degrees and a north wind at 10. Can you rotate around the tree for a while, assuming you are in your climber?
Out with my youngest. We are sitting in the white oak grove where I killed my buck last year. Oaks should just be starting to drop. Multiple white oaks within 40 yards. Sitting on the groundi in small patch of young pines with a stake out blind. He has the .22 and will get a chance at a squirrel if one presents itself. About 2.5 hours of light left. I’m in the tree. Tried to be quiet, even mowed the leaves outta the way yesterday. Even a ghost would make noise in these crunchy leaves!! Spooked a couple of deer that were bedded near by. Good Luck, everyone!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
