    I’m back at the house. I didn’t see a deer but I sure heard them.

    I think it’s too early and too warm here for them to come out of the woods in daylight.

    I’ll go back to the same tree tomorrow morning.

    I’ll bet that I will kill a deer in that spot before too long.

    I saw 7 doe this morning but no shots. I left my phone in the truck by accident but I was kind of nice not having it I only stayed 2 1/2 hours I didn’t want anyone to think something happened to me if they couldn’t get a hold of me. For the evening sit 3 small does. I did find this nice bed the other day I just don’t know when would be a good time to set up on it.     This is the buck that came in tonight. With him coming through at 8:30 this mornin I figured he was bedded somewhat close. Those does definitely saved his life tonight. WGI_0041.jpeg

    That first bedded buck ended up being a janky 7 point. He hung out for 45 mins and then the 8 point walked in. He sniffed around and then bedded by us for an hour and 20 mins. A spike rounded everybody up and they all left at last light. It was a crazy night and the 6 year old was awesome through the whole thing.
