After yesterday’s near disaster, I decided to take a few more practice shots this afternoon just make sure my bow was good. Shot below was from 40 yards. My biw also appears to be considerably quieter. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Later than I wanted after my daughters softball game.... but I'm in the stand. Let's hope this wind dies down. Sent from my SM-S908U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
She went about 100 yards. She was quartered away a bit and I put it a little further forward then it should have been but she was dead quick.
As I’m sitting here watching the tree rats run around and play I got to thinking my safety harness is getting some age on it any suggestions on a new one Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I’m set up all the way at the west end of the north road. I’m pretty well concealed and I have four scrapes in bow range. This spot just feels good.
Let some rain pass and just got strapped in. Got to the bottom of my tree and had a doe and a fawn come around some thick stuff. Good luck tonight!
The summit harness has been very comfortable and I would replace it with one of the same. Like it better than the vest type for wearing it under clothing.
I got all excited. Heard something coming in nice and steady. Finally caught movement and it was turkeys.
When I hunted from a tree, I found the Muddy harness to be comfortable, simple, quiet, lightweight, and secure. Did I miss anything?
Yes, I have them but I’m not going to take a 45 yard shot at a turkey. And crap! A doe just blew down wind while I was typing that.
