    Congrats Suncrest08!

    Im in a tree for first whitetail hunt of the season. Nice buck only. Have a bear, cougar, and turkey tag that are open too.

    Bit of a rodeo going up the tree. A clip for the lower part of my climber broke when almost at sitting height. It stayed hooked to my feet but I lost all leverage to be able to get it angled to bite into the tree. Took me a bit to figure out what I was going to do. Thank goodness I always use the connecting rope between the bottom and top portion, I was able to grab that rope and pull the bottom up so I could get it to bite. Then Jerry-rigged the broken clip.
    Thought I was going to have to let myself down my lifeline there for a bit.

    Same over here. I didn’t expect too much but I hoped to at least see a few. Not so. Hopefully the colder weather Monday and Tuesday will get them moving.
