Up a tree, same spot as two weeks ago. My oldest is in a stand about 30 yards away. Covering a beddung thicket with loaded pin oaks and red oaks surrounding it. Good luck!

    45 minutes until legal light.

Made it in way over dressed this morning. I used some BS bow holder when I put this stand up not sure what I was thinking I have 3 brand new ones at home. Here’s the view from my shooting side. DF535DBB-8199-4AA7-A0EC-69352E5B8D5D.jpeg

I won’t be hunting this weekend, took this one and next weekend to hang out with the family before I take several weekends in a row for hunting. I’ll hopefully be out on Tuesday for the start of this permit only hunt! Good luck killers

Well, my hunt is over. My bow fell out of the tree, top cam broke. Still going ti sit until 10 am or so, hopefully my son gets one. I was planning on replacing it the soring anyway, so not a big deal, just annoying. It was about due for a new set of strings, okd enough that it is not wirth it now.

I knee is feeling great. No where 100% yet , but it feels 100% to me compared to years past. Dr said it would take a year to be completely healed. He gave me permission to go and do other things. Just that if it aches or hurts to stop. Give it a day or two to rest.
so far no issues. Thx for asking

Here's some further pics I got this morning. These are from the spot where I placed a camera the other day. It was very remote and not easy to access but it looks like it could be productive. I'm getting a stand in there today and if the wind is right I hope to hunt it starting Monday after the front.
