I've seen exactly 0 deer on my land, so far.

I think I'll try a new, old spot tomorrow. Wind from the west tomorrow, 42/78* temps tomorrow. I've got public land two oak stands that should work: ridge and hollow.

Gonna be a race to beat others. Either will be a mile+ hike in.

Watch is set for extra early.

First time out in two years! Didn't bow hunt last season due to being pregnant. We bought an 80 acre farm and are overran with doe currently. Of course I haven't seen a thing besides mosquitoes and a squirrel.

Got out of work a little early and did some scouting on the permit property that I get to start hunting on 10/15, I’ve only been on the property twice so decided to skip a hunt and scout, found some killer feeding sign under an oak that is tucked up into some super thick holly brush. Awesome trails coming out of it. Come on 10/15

I look up in field and it has a bunch of doe and 4 buck . An 8, monster 4 and maybe 6 and long spike. Now when I say monster 4 he had a ripped neck and way bigger then the 8pt big long main beams and a long tine one each that forks forward. A few years ago I got a pic of one similar to him. Again up from coop bli d . Though that has to have a south east wind . Every things been Nw or wwn

Heading out soon I’m running behind that’s the norm, hunting close to home so I should be getting there right at first light.

I’m up for the morning. I saw 4 bucks last evening but nothing mature. Looking for a 4.5 year old or older. 36 degrees this morning should help.

Good luck morning crew. I'm doing a scouting run later and I'll probably end up in a stand this evening. Next week cold fronts are interesting.

Yesterday we had a fawn come into 7-8yds. While watching it a mature Doe, 30yds to our left, where deer never come from in the afternoon, until now, started stomping and blowing at us. Couldn't turn on it. And that was that for the evening.

Sara and I are back in the blind this morning. See how it goes. Good luck Saturday hunters!
