It crazy the different kinds of people you meet on public. Definitely keeps it interesting. See quite of few guys that lie thru there teeth about the deer, and you can tell. The big thing i get the most is "I hunt here all the time". Well i do too, and ive never seen you, and usually never see them again. Just part of the dynamic. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
Ironic. Just yesterday evening on my way out, I encountered a guy hunting the edge of the pipeline I walk to access my spot. He says "he usually hunts back there", pointing to the general area I just left and have my natural ground blind in. I have scouted this area since the beginning of July, when I put my blind together, and hunted 12 days since the season opened. I've never seen this guy before!
Fixing to head back out trying to decide if I want to hunt the same spot as this morning or move to where I saw those small bucks on the way out Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums

Big Doe seem to be afraid of the blind. Keep hanging up 40yds out in a mowed path, with alot of brush between the blind and them. Soooo, we are on the ground, out of the blind, with a natural blind that I cut a hole in. If they keep doing what they have been doing then we should have 15yd broadside shot.
I'm not in a stand, but sure having fun. Just bought a boat. I like fishing lake erie and detroit river in the spring. Some day maybe a few of you can meet up at the SE corner of Michigan and catch some walleye. I retire next June, so maybe spring of 2026 we can set something up. Anyone live near there and interested? It's a 20 foot Lund Impact.
I’m up, different clover plot tonight. The woods are starting to open up so I can see a little further, but not a whole bunch. Good luck everyone
Nice rig. I sold most of my Erie gear a few years ago. Cast or troll? Both? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
