I've got some spots like that too. I've given way too much thought to setting a trot line when I sit there...

Just had a sow and her 2 cubs walk right under me that was pretty cool first time ever seeing bears while I was hunting

Up in my tree hoping a deer shows up. I’d settle for a doe this morning, but I think I picked the wrong spot based on what I saw yesterday.

Well morning hasn’t started as I would have liked , on the 7 mile drive to here I missed a doe by a foot or two. My brakes work real well. Gear went all over the place.
Sitting here watching and listening from the tree and I turn to my right and I have a 1 yrling and a fawn with in 28 -30 yards , big doe about 40 yards all I can see is her body. I’m sitting also. I was able to stand and get my bow off the hanger and turn back before I was picked off and in a sec they were gone.

note to self don’t get fixed on one area. Scan ALL areas

0730 deer to our left blew at us, must not like the blind.

0800 saw two on the hillside across the driveway running around, think the vineyard guys spooked them.

Just had a Lil button messing around in the scrape that's to my west. Had to look hard to see the knots on his head.

No hunt today, got home and hubby said I'm taking the day off . Then I looked at the forcast and yet again it had changed. High 68 low 50's. Then rain several days and cooling down.
I have to get the Gator scrubbed up for winter and warmer temps will make that easier. Plus I have to clean out rest of garden and the chicken coop.
Kill guys kill and stay safe..LC...those bikes are heavy and you are a lucky son of a gun
