I circled around here real wide to get in without being seen from the bank. I climb up the bank and immediately jump something big. Darn it. Gonna walk all the way back around and set up.
Had a couple does on the next ridge hear me in these crunchy leaves. Didn't look or sound too spooked. Hopefully one comes nosing around later. I have something to cure her curiosity. Good luck out there all!
One thing i love about my job. Flexibility. Asked my boss if i could have off Tuesday/Wednesday and get my hrs in on Mon/Th/Fri. He said no problem. Doesnt make me use my vacation hrs. if i dont want to.
Up in my climber. The wind is pretty strong right now. Considering getting down, hopefully it settles down
Good looking dog VS 54 degrees 4 - 14 mph wind gust out of the NE I’m up in different spot. Later than I wanted but choirs took a little longer than I thought
Chilling in New blind eating cherry tomatoes I picked on the way in. Clovers filled in great after I dropped the rye but no day pics yet. I made a scrape and hung a scent wick last week and refreshed every couple of days. First sit here.
Im up! Mostly a observation sit. Looking for this big boy. Lots of sign really popping up. As i was setting up something walked up behind me, about 10 yards. Still cant see it. Sounded like a deer. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
Back at the stand thus evening for a possible double. I've been getting good activity at this spot on the cam in the evenings and I'm hoping with the cooler temps I'll put my buck on the board tonight!
Congratulations to the killers! Back up in a tree tonight finally. Sitting on an oak flat in a strip of woods with corn on the north and south and swamps to the east and west. Acorns everywhere and it is absolutely tore up in here. this guy came out of the oaks this morning and the way he’s heading I don’t think he’ll be back by dark but ya never know. If given the right opportunity I may shoot a doe tonight. Good like guys and gal!
