Keep the horses, karma is paying you back for your sacrifice for your wife.

Bruh, and I only say that in Swamps absence (where are you shower dude), you'll kill that buck soon enough. I can feel it in me bones

Well, powerball and mega millions are both over 150m...after taxes somebody might be able to afford the taxes and put a humble hunting cabin on there...

Well boys and girls, mud has come to play.
I’m up and pouring coffee down my throat. It’s about go time. I’ll be heading out some time around 530 - 545. To wait for 655 for it to be light enough to shoot.
Maine was great , celebrating 28 yrs with the wife was awesome. The knee is great compared to years past.
I’m ready to unleash a GRIMREAPER. The freezer is empty

I have so many items to take care since we were gone. Sorry Faith ( wife’s name) they are not going to be taken care of. Some will but not all. Damn lawn needs mowed.

On my sit yesterday I had a huge dead branch fall 40 yds from me. Just a PSA, look around for a potential dead fall before you pick a tree to hunt. That thing woulda wiped me out!!

After Helene blew through here, I've looked up more than ever in my life of hunting. Trees are still coming down here. I heard one yesterday fall, sounded huge. Be careful out there.

Back at house and not even 8a.m.. I'm kicking myself big time, it's the crossbow! I can't remember the last time I missed with it.
I had ranged everything and just before the shot. She changed direction and headed back in to the rye and straight into my scent stream .
So much for weather saying light sw winds. The second I stepped in to that field the winds were a stead NW 10-15 with hard gust. I was freezing by sun rise. Any ways I knew the tree was 36 yrds and the ladderstand was 40. She was at an angle between them. I over estimated at shot over her. The bolt went 50 yrds and cut a branch before blowing up my field edge rock pile. I can salvage the knock, no idea were broadhead and 3" of shaft are.
Need to run errands then out tonight.
