    I’m set up in the new spot. I’m only 10 feet off the ground but I have decent cover.

    This looks like a great spot.

    I won’t shoot a doe here in the evening.

    they smell and want to eat the leaves on those new-cut limbs. They were hammering limbs we trimmed out last weekend. I am telling you, I've never seen deer find and hit a bait pile as fast as they were on the lane trimmings.

    Well this was a dud sit, complete 180* from the other night and not what I was expecting. Love getting humbled, saw 3 doe and a young buck once I got in. That was it for me, till next time !!

    I heard that little guy grunting and chasing a doe up the hill in the thick stuff for about 5 minutes. The doe blew and the chasing stopped. There was a pause and then I heard him coming.

    That was cool. Now I need a good one to do that.
