Heading out in a few it might be a little tough to find my stand sometime during the summer quite a few trees blew over on my entrance route and it’s pretty thick going in. I do have some reflectors on trees if they are still visible. Good luck this morning to anyone getting out.

A cool crisp 40f. It’s the time of year where for the next few weeks it’s going to be mid 40s at night and mid 70s during the day. Got an hr drive to the farm I hunt. Good luck to everyone heading out!!

I’m back up in the same tree.

What a crazy ride up this hill in the dark with those weeds. My legs are soaked from the knees down from the dew. I may have to wear rain pants in the mornings.

Got in around 630 the entrance was as $hitty as I thought it would be, I don’t expect to see anything for a while except I have a great view for a sunrise in a few minutes. 40 degrees here.

From someone who has had malaria, it will give you ptsd every time you get by a mosquito. Or get the shivers. Or get a fever….

I'm up in the stand by the swamp. Bout the only time I can hunt this is in a NW wind and that's what it is today. Cool 40° this AM. Let's go!

Geez. My apologies, I guess that was a bad joke. I cant stand mosquitoes though. They drive me insane. So i knew it was bad when i finally gave up swatting them and just let them bite me.

What a great morning to be out! Good luck everyone, my truck was packed from last night and I was planning on going out. I tweaked my back when I got home yesterday night picking up my girl, feels like a knife is in my ribcage got zero sleep. It will pass, let’s see some bloody arrows!

I haven’t seen a thing so far. The only thing I’ve heard is Elly May bawling about something. I’m over a mile away but her voice carries. She went on and on for almost an hour.
