    I decided I would hunt tomorrow morning on my place. I like to have my gear set up already do here I am up a tree for a short two hour sit.

    I know that eventually something will show up on my place.

    Got the truck loaded up for the morning, dad and I will be heading to public land in Maryland bright and early! Today was my last day of work at my current role, took a huge pay increase and changed industries to let the wife stay home with the kiddo. Really good benefits, pay and PTO… and it doesn’t start till 11/6 so I have all October to get some hunting in! Sad to leave my current role, I loved my job but have to put the family first

    Luckily I have 3 doe tags in PA, a buck tag here, a couple buck tags in MD and a ton of doe tags down there!!! Lol

    Nice! We have a cool front coming through on Thursday, Oct. 5th. It's a 12 degree drop in high temps. It's my oldest son 12th birthday so I'm hoping to get him on a deer. I went and moved a camera around today as we've had one picture of a deer in the last two weeks. That is very very odd for our property. I can't figure out what is going on. We usually are covered up in does and have about 5-7 bucks that come through the area. It will happen I just have to be patient.

    woke up this morning thinking i was going to sit for a little bit before it temps rise this weekend. i obviously didn’t check the forecast before i went to bed because i woke up in the middle of a thunderstorm.
