    My standard reply, no congrats until recovered.

    I could have "congrats" his second post as he seen her 25yds away, but I choose to do so after recovery.

    Reason being is congrating based on initial shooter feeling only to lead to a non recovery.

    Example:

    Shooter: Just smoked a doe

    Everyone else: Congrats. WTG, Hell Yeah, Stone Cold Killer, Awesome

    Shooter: Blood trickled out, lost blood, can't find blood or arrow


    Early celebration and early congrats jinx the moment

    I’m set up for my last sit for this Arkansas trip. The only reason I’m out this morning is because I had my second stand out and didn’t want to bother with going 1 1/4 miles to get it yesterday in the heat.

    When this sit I’d over I’ll take everything in and head home.

    Hey, I’m mot complaining. I’m the one who chose to hunt this heat wave. It is frustrating that the wind WILL NOT pick a direction. It’s supposed to be out of the north this morning but it was just hitting me out of the SW. :lol:

    I’ve seen more deer than anyone at camp and I’ve had two opportunities but blew both of them.

    I just need to go home and re-charge a bit.
