Prime movment time is good until 9:45. It is cool enough I am going to give that doe time. Hopefully, this buck comes in late this morning. i can see my arrow through the binos, full pass through and it is coated in blood.
This is pretty cool to see it first hand with a cell cam, never hung one over a buck bed I found. I have had 4 different bucks come in and sniff that bed but this is the first one to use it.
Moon is now underfoot, I have squirrels moving and acorns dropping around. Something needs to come in again.
I am doubting that the buck is using this bed anymore. It has been so dry with the lack of rain, most of the grass that was giving him cover has died. It is a lot more open than it was a month ago.
I’m excited to see how they use it on different winds, different bucks, time of day. Hoping to learn a good bit off that cam. That lil buck was only in it for 4 mins and got up and left, pretty neat stuff.
Blood trail picks would be nice while I'm stuck at work managing a bunch of trained monkeys selling cars. A body photo would also be much appreciated. Sent from my SM-S918U using Tapatalk
Well, it would appear that my no deer seeing streak is continuing. It’s 9:45 and all I’ve seen is squirrels. Lots of squirrels. I’m going to climb down and move this stand southwest out of the ultra-thick bottom I’m in (blue stand) to somewhere around the two red stand icons on the point. I haven’t actually been there. I just dropped them from where I am. I saw quite a bit of traffic there last season. I can’t do any worse.
