Driving home now sucker went balls deep into the corn, I’ll write it up when I get her hung and a beer haha
Well I told myself I was sick of seeing them skirt me sooo I decided to get down at 7:15. I made I’d down and packed up in 10 mins. Walked down and around the field and saw a pile of deer. I dropped my pack off and snuck the corn edge around to the corner. The deer were working away from me, but two deer broke and headed my way. Ranged from 80 down to 50 yds then I put it away. They were on a string to me, I let em come and drew when I guessed them at 40 I drew and I got away with it without being busted, the corn broke my silhouette pretty good. I shot when they were what I guessed 20 yds, I guessed right and they booked it back into the corn, she went down before the corn and then got back up and I guess it was a death run bc it was a highway of blood. The rest is history, that’s the first successful “stalk” I have put on and I have tried it many times over the years on unsuccessful sits the last 30 mins of light.
There are so many deer and other critters that can be killed by doing that. People tend to think they have one option. (Tree stand). I've killed so many deer/ bear/ coyotes by moving and thinking outside " the box". Nice work Suncrest.

Total washout for this weekend. I was planning on going out this afternoon, but my wife is guilting me into going to dinner with another couple. I might have to bite the bullet and get this crap over with now as opposed to November.
