    Checked a couple stands and put new straps on. Put a couple of cameras out, and cut my shooting lanes open, should be good to go.

    I was wondering who would have it looked up for me by the time I got back to the cabin. :lol:

    There were quite a few of them there. It looked like an old house place. Lots of trash around.

    I found some very promising spots but one stands out and it’s where I’ll probably start Saturday morning.

    Just got access on a farm no one hunts and they hate deer! It has corn, alfalfa and oaks. Has a creek though it. Looks thick too, gonna scout hunt it tonight. Im Fired up !!

    It was totally luck and the people are great! I’m pumped. Scouted my way in and I’m setup on an oak knob surrounded by corn to the west, green field on south, north is a hill leading down to creek and east is more knob that rolls off to the creek and green field. Found some beds and one huge isolated bed and some fresh rubs. Hung a cam on the big bed and trail leading outa it. I’m up and first sit with the saddle this year. Saddle Bois mount up !!

    Currently waiting on some workers to show up at my house. They are an hr late...on my afternoon to hunt. I have put on a fake smile.

    If my wife wouldn't hurt me I would leave and tell them their business is no longer needed. They are already one week and now 1 hr late.

    I am really itching to get back into the woods. Gonna hunt a lot of public in VA this year, get back to the fundamentals of vegetation and terrain funnels, topos, and suspected buck beds and really push the envelope and be aggressive.

    I am gonna kill another buck by December.
