Pulled cards and checked straps on some fixed stands. All set to go, not much to get excited about on the cams yet. Got this cool 6 still hanging around tho.
I’m set up again for the evening sit. I moved back to the other side of the road, but I’m about 125 yards into the woods. Wind is supposed to be SE which is good for this spot but it’s shifting. I’m really just sitting so all my gear will be in the tree tomorrow morning. This has never been a great afternoon spot, but it can’t be worse than the other side of the road. Besides, you never know.
He seems slightly concerned about the thing that clicked that's attached to the tree... He's doing the head bob thing that the doe I wanted to shoot started doing on Saturday evening before she stepped into my shooting lane. Meanwhile, I was 90° to her left, and she wasn't looking anywhere near me. Usually, they're staring directly into my soul when I see that movement. Sent from my SM-S918U using Tapatalk
This is on a fence post I hammered in on the field edge, changed up some locations this year and I’m liking how it’s working so far. I got coons climbing on it and deer licking the cam too haha. Good times.
Not sure where you live but my guess is cat. Either bob or stray. There are no claw makes at the end of the toes so makes me think cat.
Elevation was about 11,700' in a Colorado wilderness area. No homes in <10 miles. For scale, they were only about 1.5". At first, I thought bobcat. Too small for mtn lion @cantexian. Fox, maybe?
